Seagulls to host Shels in FAI Cup

Bray Wanderers will face Shelbourne in the First Round of the 2022 FAI Cup, to be played at the Carlisle Grounds at the end of July.
The draw, which was made today at Abbotstown, see no fewer than four all-non-League ties, and only two all-Premier ones.

A Guard of Honour will be a feature of the First Round matches in both this year's FAI Senior Challenge Cups, men's and women's.
Guards of Honour are a well-established tradition in the game, from the youngsters who march out with the teams on many occasions to the frequent honour offered by teams to new Champions, especially when there is a game or more still to play.
But this one is different: The two teams about to compete will line up to give honour to the match officials, as part of the 'No Referee, No Game' campaign.
