From a Cobh point of view, there was something satisfying about the proceedings in Bray. Robbed, as they saw it, of three points at home to UCD in Turners Cross by late normal time and late time added goals, they travelled towards the capital a week later, and robbed their next hosts of three points with added time goals in each half.

Bray had looked impressive throughout, but Conor Knight's strike midway through the first period was nullified by a Matthew McKevitt goal a minute into time added.

Halfway through the second half, Cole Omorehiomwan put the Wanderers ahead again from a Shane Griffin free kick.

But just as the hosts were beginning to cruise towards the final whistle, McKevitt popped up again in the fourth minute of time added to fire home with what turned out to be the final kick of the game.
