BRAY WANDERERS | 2-2 | TREATY UNITED | Jake Walker 73, 76 | | Success Edogun 12 | | | Mark Walsh 94+ |
First Division Carlisle Grounds 15 Sep 2023 Another one that got away. The Seagulls' slim chance of making the play-offs gets slimmer by the week, it seems. Stunned by another early strike, this time Success Erdogun firing a rocket into the Bray net from outside the area, Wanderers made heavy weather of seeking a reply. Despite good play, it took until well into the second period before substitute Jake Walker notched up his first and second goals for the club in the space of just three minutes. But as so often before this season, what had looked like a much-needed first victory in weeks was reduced to a share of the spoils deep in time added when Mark Walsh found a way past Matt Connor at the death.
