A welcome return to winning ways for the Seagulls followed the disappointing surrender to Shelbourne last week.

An early breakthrough, Darren Craven firing home from a Ryan Graydon pull-back during a fighting opening by the home team, was all they had to show at the break despite the Students offering little in reply in that first 45 minutes.

But though the visitors resumed brightly, Bray doubled their lead from the penalty spot less than ten minutes after half-time, Conor Clifford firing the deadball into the roof of Lorcan Healy's net.

Substitute Joe Doyle struck shortly after the hour, and then made it an even four in time added.

It must be a concern, though, that Gary Shaw was substituted at the break, having needed attention early in the match.
