SHELBOURNE | 0-0 | BRAY WANDERERS |
First Division Tolka Park 30 Aug 2019 A scoreless draw was not what either team was hoping for tonight. It deprived the hosts - at least for a week - of a clearcut First Division Championship victory, and it also most probably spelled the end of Bray's play-off hopes. That said, it was also an entertaining encounter and kept the large crowd on their toes to the final whistle. And Wanderers holding the putative champions to nil all was a better outcome than most would have predicted, given the Seagulls' poor away form this season.
