While not mathematically finished, Bray's remaining chances of surviving even to the Play-Offs are now vanishingly slim.

Limerick's two goals at the Carlisle Grounds give them a 12-point margin over the Seagulls with just four matches left in the League.

Disappointingly, even Bray's normal reliables were seeing their passes going badly astray, and their interceptions were repossessed with dangerous regularity.

The home side could barely claim three half-chances at goal, and the corner count of five-one in favour of Limerick in the first half speaks for itself.

They won handily in the end while looking like a side that would face some difficulty in the Play-Offs themselves.
