Premier Carlisle Grounds 08 Jul 2018 Despite all the off-pitch distraction, the Seagulls turned the tables on their guests and bagged three priceless points. In a sweltering Carlisle Grounds, Ger Pender's opening goal on a quarter of an hour came from a visibly offside position. The second half was less that ten minutes old when Adam Wixted restored equality for the Bit o' Red, heading low to meet Rafe Cretaro's cross. But in the final quarter hour, Seán Heaney re-established the Wanderers' shock lead, which they held on grimly to until the final whistle.
