16 April 2016

Bray Wanderers under 19s extended their unbeaten run to three games in the under 19 Southern section with this well earned win at the RSC.

Paul Murphy was denied by a goal line clearance on 11 minutes when his shot was saved by Sheehan with Alan Fitzsimons eventually clearing off the line.

On 31 minutes Ryan Kavanagh shot over from close range after a Darragh Noone free kick fell to him. Kavanagh, again, went close on 41 minutes when his effort went narrowly wide.

Waterford's Dean Walsh headed over from a Jake Mooney free kick on 50 minutes.

Shane Barnes scored Wanderers second on 51 minutes when he bundled the ball home from close range. This was Shane's fourth league goal of the season and puts him top of the goal scoring charts in the under 19 league this season.
