The Brandywell proved once again that it is a place Bray can get little reward for all their efforts.

An early brace by the home side on this occasion condemned the Seagulls to their sixth consecutive League defeat.

Barely six minutes in, Nathan Boyle worked his way inside the Bray area and beat Peter Cherrie with a drive that rattled the post, and Joshua Daniels side-footed the loose ball to the net.

And a quarter of an hour later Boyle found Aaron Barry's through ball, and while Cherrie managed to block his strike, it fell back to him and he made no mistake when offered a second go.

Wanderers had had an opportunity in the opening minutes, but Dylan Connolly hesitated inside the area and Ryan McBride got back to defend.

And they missed two late chances, Connolly's close range header well parried by Ger Doherty.

And Connolly again up the right wing found Robbie Creevy unmarked, but the latter headed wide from close range.
