O'Driscoll takes over at Bray

Businessman Niall O'Driscoll has taken charge of Bray Wanderers FC, according to a news release from the club this afternoon.

It is understood that O'Driscoll, whose professional career has been in insurance, has bought a controlling interest in the club, although no details were given.

He has had a long involvement in football, and is currently chairman of Bray partner club St Josephs Boys.

His company, O'Driscoll O'Neill, has sponsored national underage competitions in the past, and was sponsor for the Ends McGuill Cup when Bray won it as an Under-21 competition in 2005.
