BRAY WANDERERS | 0-3 | MIDDLESBROUGH | | | B ailey 27 | | | Lita 73 | | | Miller 86 |
Friendly Carlisle Grounds 21 July 2010 Bray blooded a number of trialists in an entertaining tie at the Carlisle Grounds, going down three-nil in the process. The visitors had a slim squad but having given Lee Miller a rest after half an hour, in the second half Gordon Strachan brought on several others, notably Leroy Lita, who ensured the Middlesbrough win with a superb strike with a quarter of an hour to go. Another substitute, Lee Miller put the icing on the cake. But Bray manager Eddie Gormley can take heart from the performance of his charges, who kept the English Premier side out for long periods and threatened more than a little during the ninety minutes.
