Another home defeat for the Seagulls, and yet again the scoreline a little less than the play of the home team deserved - though not by much.

Jordan Adeyemo's opener was the result of a misjudgment by the Bfray keeper and skipper for the night, Stephen McGuinness, who committed himself a fraction too soon, allowing the Longford striker to delay his shot until the netminder was on the ground.

An unnecessary foul by Jamie Callaghan on Adeyemo gave Sam Verdon the opportunity to kill the tie off from the spot, and the striker finished off a superb cross by former Seagull Dylan Barnett early in the second period to put the icing n the cake.
