Once more, a late strike has deprived the Seagulls of a result they must surely believe they had earned.

And it was, yet again, preceded by an early goal against them, which must be a lilttle concerning for Gary Cronin.

Cabinteely, Wanderers' nearest neighbours, are so recent an addition to the League that it is almost excessive to call this a local derby, but apart from geography, there is much that would contribute to a feeling much like that.

The number of former Bray players in the Cabinteely squad, and the presence of former Bray stalwarts Eddie Gormley and Pat Devlin in backroom roles certainly add spice to the encounters.

A goal on the quarter hour by Paul Fox - his first for the club - and a second by substitute Yuta Sasaki five minutes from the end vitated the many efforts and the close shaves the Bray team gave their former colleague Stephen McGuinness in the home goal, despite the timely equaliser by Bray substitute Dylan McGlade.
