BRAY WANDERERS

Shaun Kelly 83

First Division

Markets Field
03 May 2019

In a game that saw level pegging between the teams, each side had the ball in the net once - but Bray's was offside, while Shaun Kelly's was not.

With a touch of fortune the visitors might have been a goal or two up before the break, but both Derek Daly and Dean O'Halloran missed inviting opportunities.

Connor Ellis had two good chances for the homeside, but was narrowly high with both.

The second period was more the hosts' affair, though O'Halloran was unlucky to draw a flag when he poked Killian Brouder's clearance attempt home after Dylan McGlade had effectively beaten Jack Brady.

Just after the hour, Dylan Barnett would have put the Seagulls ahead had his free been inches lower, but it was the Limerick captain who produced a rocket from 22 metres to beat Gabriel Sava with seven minutes to go.

A touch more accuracy in McGlade's 88th minute free would have levelled matters, but the points remained on Shannonside.
