The unwelcome sight of an ambulance reducing Bray to ten

Bray's cup of on-pitch misery seems close to overflowing tonight.

Climaxing another bad week for the Seagulls captain Gary McCabe was withdrawn in Oriel Park after less than half an hour.

Then Dylan Hayes joined the injury list, substituted at the break.

And as the five-nil match neared its end, the visitors wwere reduced to ten men when a clash between Seán Heaney and Andrew McGovern saw the latter removed by ambulance.

Nor is the injury list improved by the news that Hugh Douglas - despite being on the bench last Monday - will take no further part this season, as he is facing surgery on his cruciate ligament.

The home team goals pale into insignificance against that background, though Daniel Kelly and Paul O'Conor, to their credit, managed to keep sight of the target to the end despite the drama.
