Underage teams update

Wanderers under-age teams have reached an interesting stage in their competitions.

The Men's Under-17 team have made it through to the Mark Farren Cup Quarter-Finals, but have yet to find out who their opponents will be.

Two more Bray teams face further Cup ties this weekend: the Under-15s will host Bohemians (who have been a bogey team for Wanderers' youngest teams so far) and the Under-19s face Drogheda United in the Enda McGuill Cup, both matches on Sunday 29 August.

Three of the Bray teams have completed Phase one of their season so far: both the Under-17 teams will take part in their Elite League phase, while the Women's Under-19s will enter the Shield tournament in Phase two, sharing Group B with Bohemians, Wexford Youths and Shelbourne Ladies.

The Women's Under-17 Cup First Round will be on Saturday 04 September, but the draw for that has not yet been publicised. The Under-19 women were beaten by DLR Waves in the First Round of their Cup.

Details of Bray's underage matches, with some data on team lineouts and scorers, can be found here; details of other fixtures (especially Cup rounds) are here for Under-14 and Under-15s; here for Under-17s and Under-19s; and here for the Women's teams.

The format of the competitions is complex. Find an explainer here
