2017-08-17

At the Falkirk Wheel in Scotland today, Bray Wanderers were drawn away to Elgin City in the second round of the Irn-Bru Cup.

Elgin had beaten Hibernians' Under-20s on Tuesday night in the first round.

Sligo Rovers got a home draw against Falkirk, while Crusaders will be at home to Motherwell U20s. Linfield's away trip is still to be finalised as Albion Rovers fielded an ineligible player in their victory over Spartans, and disciplinary measures are yet to be decided.

As for the Welsh teams participating, The New Saints will host Livingston and Connahs Quay will visit Dumbarton.

Elgin is a cathedral city about 40m (65km) east of Inverness on the Moray Firth. It also lies about 60m (95km) north-west of Aberdeen.

The club's ground at Borough Briggs is reputedly the most northerly league football stadium in the UK.
