Bray will be determined to overcome a growing injury list – after Graham Kelly brought the number of casualties to seven when he was stretchered off against Drogheda last Friday. He joins captain Danny O'Connor (groin), Jake Kelly (ankle), Eric McGill, Shane Byrne, Shane O'Connor (hamstring) and Adam Hanlon (knee) on the sidelines, although goalkeeper Shane Redmond returns to the squad after suspension.

In the absence of so many first-team regulars, Alan Mathews turned to youth and was rewarded with an impressive 2-0 victory at Hunky Dorys Park.

Although frustrated at the impact playing three games a week is having on his squad, Bray boss Alan Mathews is confident that his young charges can cope.

“It was a good result and performance at Drogheda,” he said. “We will take confidence from that result and we will build on that and take in Friday's e against Derry City.
